Injiri, meaning “real India”, historically stands for “real Madras checkered textiles” which were exported to West Africa back in the 18th century.
Crafted in collectives from Gujarat to West Bengal, the Injiri pillows combine the beauty of hand-loomed fabrics with simply adorned designs to preserve the richness of local crafts. Each Injiri pillow is entirely handmade by local artisans using traditional techniques of weaving, dyeing and looming. Adornments add a personal, hand-applied touch.
Jat is named after the nomadic cattle-breeding community of Kachchh. This home textiles collection portrays black and white as its primary colors.
