The Story Behind BEACH HAUS

Hi, I'm Renee, the founder and designer behind BEACH HAUS!

I've spent over 25 years in the world of design and product development, creating home textiles and working with some incredible brands along the way. Design has always been a huge part of who I am, but I've always dreamed of creating something that was completely my own.

In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn. The world shut down, I lost my corporate job, and suddenly I had the opportunity to rethink what I wanted to do next. What started as a challenging time turned into the beginning of something really special—BEACH HAUS.

Living in Miami Beach, I'm constantly inspired by the colors, textures, and laid-back lifestyle around me. I wanted to create a collection of bags that reflected that feeling—fun, colorful, a little unexpected, and effortlessly chic.

With my background in textiles, I naturally gravitated toward materials that weren't traditionally used in handbags. That's how our signature quilted terrycloth bags came to life! Since then, BEACH HAUS has grown to include new textures, fabrics, and styles, but my love for playing with color and materials has never changed.

For me, it's all about the little details. I love creating pieces that make an outfit feel special, spark a conversation, and bring a little happiness to someone's day. I believe a great bag should be both beautiful and functional, but most importantly, it should have personality!

What makes BEACH HAUS so special to me is seeing how you make these bags your own. Whether it's your everyday favorite, a travel companion, or a bag dressed up with a few charms, I love being a small part of your personal style.

I'm so grateful for everyone who has supported this little dream of mine. What started as an idea has grown into something I couldn't be more proud of, and I'm so excited for what's next.
